Hey everyone
Yesterday i went fishing on a 30+ acre pond some lady owns. I went around 5 or so and caught about 5 brim - decent sized, but thats not what i was hunting for - i wanted big mouth bass. So i switch my rods and lures over to bass rigs and start casting a hour passs and i have no luck, finally under HEAVY brush i get a bit, guys, im not talking about a little jerk or something to kind of tug the rod, im talking about if i wasnt really paying attention my arm would have gotten ripped out of socket and probably lost my pole. ANYWAY, i set the hook once and it starts headed for the boat - and so i through the troller into reverse real quick hoping to kind of scare it, it works *YAY!* and shoots off in front again, so i set it one more time just in case when i do it broke the water [breaking water means the fish comes out of the water - usually see it on fishing shows but never really get to experiance it] anyway, it breaks the water about 3 feet - im not kidding, 3 feet, and not straight up, at a huge angle. so, i have 20+lbs line on my rod and reel and i feel the line starting to give way, so im screaming DONT YO BREAK YOU NASTY LITTLE HO, DONT! so i wrestle with it for 5 mins or so and FINALLY get it in the boat.. i didnt have a camera because to tell you the truth i really didnt think i was going to find anything. It weighs over 10lbs, it HAD TO. it was the length of my arm well from the elbow to the tips of my fingers. Im 6'3" and my arms arent midget arms. i was SO MAD i didnt bring a camera and i wasnt going to let that bad boy die because i have never caught one that big. Lame story i know, but i just HAD to tell someone about it hehe. ok peace out
